POCO F8 Ultra launched, price in the Philippines revealed

POCO-F8-Ultra-5612

POCO has officially unveiled the POCO F8 Ultra in a grand launch event held in Bali, Indonesia.

There are a lot of improvements present on the new POCO F8 Ultra and its baby brother, the F8 Pro. But easily the biggest one is its speakers, designed in partnership with renowned audio company Bose.

POCO-F8-Ultra-5602

The POCO F8 Ultra has a triple speaker setup branded as “Sound by Bose”. There are two drivers in their usual location, with the addition of a dedicated woofer on the back. In our full review, we praise its incredible sound, with the tertiary driver providing audible bass for a fuller sound.

As for the rest of the hardware, the F8 Ultra has one of the most powerful mobile chipsets available, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It’s paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also has a dedicated VisionBoost D8 display chipset.

We also have a much bigger 6,500mAh battery, but oddly, it now has a slower 100W charging support (possibly for safety and battery durability reasons) and the same 50W wireless charging support.

It comes with Android 16-based HyperOS 3 software. Plus, a durability certified by its IP68 rating.

The triple-camera setup on the back is led by a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 950 sensor with optical image stabilization.

It is paired with a 50-megapixel periscope lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 32-megapixel lens for selfies.

POCO-F8-Ultra-5617

The POCO F8 Ultra 12GB/256GB has an SRP of Php39,999, while the 16GB/512GB comes in at Php42,999. You can get them from November 26 to December 9 with an early-bird price of Php34,999 and Php37,999, respectively. It is exclusively available through Lazada.
