Sony’s flagship mirrorless camera, the Sony A7 V, is now official and has arrived in the Philippines right in time for Christmas. The Sony A7 V is great for both photos and videos, featuring the same 33-megapixel Exmor RS CMOS sensor as before, but now with a partially stacked design. This allows for a full-time electronic shutter so you can shoot quietly and blackout-free with 30fps continuous bursts. It comes with a fast BIONZ XR2 image processor that has an integrated AI chip. Apart from improved image and video recording and stable color reproduction, it offers AI-backed real-time recognition and subject tracking. The sensor is attached to a 5-axis optical image stabilizer. Plus, it has a lightweight RAW format that churns out smaller files for easier management. Xiaomi has revealed its latest G34WQi 2026 curved gaming monitor on its global site, confirming plans for an international launch.

The Xiaomi G34WQi 2026 monitor features a large 34-inch screen with a sharp 3440 x 1440 resolution. Its 21:9 ultra-wide format offers significantly more horizontal space than traditional monitors. The 1500R curve on the panel is intended to create a more immersive viewing experience.

Gamers are catered to with a high 180Hz refresh rate and a fast 1ms response time. This combination helps keep fast-moving action clear, especially with AMD FreeSync Premium support to prevent screen tearing for a smoother gameplay session.

For image quality, it meets DisplayHDR 400 standards with a 400-nit peak brightness. The panel boasts a 3500:1 contrast ratio for richer darks and brighter lights. It can reproduce 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and over a billion colors for vibrant and accurate visuals.

User comfort is also a focus, with TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced blue light exposure. DC dimming technology is also used to minimize screen flicker. The stand allows for height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, and it can be mounted on a wall.

For connectivity, the monitor provides two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, along with an audio output. The unit weighs 6.5 kilograms with its stand attached.

Pricing and release date for the Xiaomi G34WQi 2026 curved gaming monitor are expected to be announced soon. Since the previous generation is available in the Philippines, we expect that this model would eventually arrive in the country, too.
