Xiaomi is getting ready to launch an updated version of its video calling camera, and this one comes with a display built directly into the unit. The company has made big changes compared to last year’s model. The most obvious upgrade is the 3.97-inch colour screen on the front. It has a 480 x 800 pixel resolution display, and the buttons next to it are now bigger and easier to press. You can make video calls in three different ways. You can wave your hand, push a button, or set the camera to connect automatically. The calls work between the camera and a phone, or between two cameras. For sound, the device uses two microphones and a decent-sized speaker. There is also a noise reduction feature that helps cut down on background chatter, so the person on the other end can hear you more clearly.
