Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14: Kompanio Ultra 910 CPU, 14″ OLED display, 17-hour battery

Google has a new powerful laptop under its belt with the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14. The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 chipset that consists of a Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.62GHz, four Cortex-A720, and three Cortex-X4. You can get it with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of fast UFS storage. Made for AI, this new chip offers 50 TOPS of NPU power. This MediaTek processor is the most powerful ARM chip ever found on a Chromebook. Despite its power, Google promises a battery life lasting up to 17 hours. For the screen, we have a 14-inch OLED panel with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 400 nit peak brightness. This is also the first Chromebook that takes audio seriously as it is the first in the series to have Dolby Atmos support. Being a thin and light laptop, the port selection is quite limited. HONOR X6c: Helio G81 Ultra CPU, 120Hz LCD, 5,300mAh battery

A new HONOR entry-level smartphone has been released. The new HONOR X6c is out with a familiar design and slightly beefed-up specs.

The HONOR X6c is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, with up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5,300mAh battery — bigger than usual, but not the biggest we’ve seen. It’s paired with 35W charger.

A 6.61-inch IPS screen is on the front, with a high 120Hz refresh rate, boasts a high 1,000-nit peak brightness, but only an HD+ resolution. A punch-hole on top holds the 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter joined by a QVGA depth sensor.

HONOR also highlights its IP64 drop and water resistance. It ships with MagicOS 9 based on Android 15, with a couple of AI features.

The HONOR X6c is now listed in Malaysia for RM599 (~Php7,900). No word yet if it’s coming to the Philippines.
