If you’ve ever wanted to run a microwave at a campsite or power heavy tools from your van, a new power station from Anker might be the solution. The company has launched the Solix C2000 Gen 2, a heavy-duty portable power bank aimed at campers, van-lifers, and remote workers who need serious electricity far from the grid.
The Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2 power station delivers a continuous 2,400 watts of power, with a surge capacity that can jump to 4,000 watts to start demanding motors. Anker says this means it can handle things like electric cookers, power tools, portable air conditioners, and most kitchen appliances you’d find in a home.
It’s not light, weighing in at 18.9 kg, but it is designed to be carried by one person.

Inside is a large 2,048 watt-hour (over 170,000mAh) lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. This type of battery is known for longevity over being lightweight. Anker claims the battery can withstand over 4,000 complete charge cycles while maintaining performance, which they suggest could mean a functional life of more than ten years with daily use.
Using a wall outlet and solar panels simultaneously, the Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2 can recharge from empty to 80% in roughly 45 minutes, thanks to a maximum dual-input charging rate of 2,600 watts. Using just a wall outlet, it can accept up to 2,300 watts.
For off-grid scenarios, it can be charged by solar panels with a maximum input of 800 watts, from a 12V car outlet, or from a fuel-powered generator. This flexibility is key for users who move between different power sources on long trips.

On the front panel are two high-speed USB-C ports, each capable of delivering 140 watts. That’s enough to quickly charge multiple laptops, phones, cameras, or drones without extra power adapters.
For users whose power needs grow, Anker offers an optional expansion battery. Adding one doubles the total energy storage from 2,048 watt-hours to 4,096 watt-hours (4 kWh), which could support longer stays off-grid or powering high-wattage devices for many hours.

With its high price, substantial weight, and professional-grade power specs, the Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2 is clearly targeting users with defined, heavy power needs rather than casual weekend campers. It is now available in select global markets.
