Fujifilm is tapping into consumers’ nostalgia harder with the new Instax Mini Evo Cinema Hybrid Camera, which has been priced and is now up for pre-order in the Philippines.
If this is the first time you’re hearing about the Instax Mini Evo Cinema Camera, let us share with you the basics. For starters, it has the form factor of a vintage handheld video camera from the 50’s and the 60’s.

It has a Degree Control Dial and a dedicated dial that lets you quickly switch from 10 different effects that mimic eras from the 1930s to 2020.
You also get a physical print lever for printing photos, a zoom lever, switches for Stills and Videos, and a Frame Switch, an attachment for the LCD viewfinder, a grip attachment, and more physical buttons that really provide that old-school, analog feel.

Since this is a hybrid camera, it can record videos and shoot photos. You have the freedom to choose what photos you want to print, and even print ones taken on your smartphone via the Instax Mini Evo app available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
For the nerds out there, the Mini Evo Cinema camera has a 5-megapixel 1/5-inch CMOS sensor that takes still photos in a 1920 x 2560 resolution, standard videos at 600 x 800 pixels, and 1080 x 1440 pixels at High Quality Video Mode.

It also has an f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, an ISO range of 100 to 1600, supports microSD cards, a non-removable Li-Ion battery that charges for 2-3 hours, and uses Instax mini Instant Film.
The Instax mini Evo Cinema has a price of Php22,599 in the Philippines. You can pre-order it at Fujifilm authorized stores nationwide until February 15, 2026.
