Infinix NOTE 60 Pro: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 CPU, 144Hz OLED display, 6500mAh battery

The Infinix NOTE 60 series is now official. We’ll be talking about the vanilla model in a separate article. For this one, we’ll be focusing on the more premium Infinix NOTE 60 Pro. Let’s get the obvious out of the way: the design of the Infinix NOTE 60 Pro is inspired by the new iPhone 17 Pro series . It has a wide camera island, similar to Apple’s Camera Plateau, and comes with that unmistakable orange colorway. But, it has one trick up its sleeve. That camera island holds the Active Matrix Display. It’s a dot-style display that shows pixel icons, emojis, pets, time, weather, and more. You can also play mini games on this one. That island also holds the 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide. On the front, there’s a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, has 4,500-nit peak brightness, and is protected by a Corning Gorilla 7i. A 13-megapixel selfie camera is on top. Per usual, this Infinix smartphone is equipped ...

TECNO’s follow-up to the CAMON series is here, and it’s got some interesting upgrades, especially in the camera and battery.

The TECNO CAMON 50 Pro has a more refined design than its predecessor. It inherits the same layout, but is now flatter. You still have that vertical camera island, which looks a lot cleaner. It also comes in six different colorways.

What really stands out is the curved display and rear panel, and curvier four corners. This should make the device very comfortable and feel premium in the hands.

That screen is a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is underneath the display.

Also on the display is the sharp 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, there’s a fancy 50-megapixel LYT-700C sensor from Sony with optical image stabilization. Like last year, the main camera is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide.

But what makes this model special is the addition of a third camera, and it’s a capable one: a 50-megapixel telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom.

Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor, joined with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It ships with HiOS 16, which is based on Android 16, and will receive 3 major OS updates.

Keeping the lights on is the upgraded 6,150mAh battery with 45W charging. The device is also fairly durable, having received IP68/69/69K dust and water resistance.

What does the “IP” rating on your smartphone mean?

If you look at your new phone’s specifications, you will notice something like “IP69 Water and Dust Protection.” This is a common selling point that phone manufacturers and brands show on their specifications. At first glance, it may appear too technical, but it’s actually straightforward. What does the IP code mean? The “IP” in the IP code stands for Ingress Protection, an internationally recognized standard defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) that indicates the level of dust and water protection of a gadget, such as a mobile phone or other electronic device. As you notice, the letters IP are usually followed by a mix of numbers and/or letters, like ‘IP69’ or ‘IPX7,’ indicating their water and dust protection rating.  We already mentioned what IP stands for. Now, let’s look at the next two digits. What does the first digit mean? The first digit after IP indicates solid particle protection, including dust, wires, or body parts. It will range from ...
