In addition to the trial program, Google has announced plans to release more paid indie games over the coming months. Titles such as Moonlight Peaks, Sledding Game, and Low-Budget Repairs are expected to arrive soon. The company has also launched a dedicated section in the Play Store that highlights games optimized for Windows PCs. Users can add these games to their wish list and receive notifications when they go on sale.

Google is also expanding its AI-powered tools for gamers. The Play Games Sidekick, a Gemini-powered Android overlay first announced last year, is now rolling out to select games downloaded from the Play Store. The Sidekick provides relevant information and tips for the game being played without requiring users to perform a manual search.
