HONOR Robot Phone showcased at MWC 2026, more details revealed

HONOR has shared more details about its highly talked-about concept phone, the HONOR Robot Phone. During its MWC 2026 presentation, the company claimed that they have developed an extra durable and light micro motor for the HONOR Robot Phone . The concept device is made of 2800Mpa high-performance materials and 0.001 enhanced simulation accuracy for the motor. HONOR claims it was able to trim 70% of the size of a mainstream motor. It also has the smallest 4DoF gimbal system with an embodied motion control. It also pioneers the use of a smartphone 3-axis gimbal camera. What’s even more interesting is that HONOR teamed up with ARRI, a prominent German manufacturer of film cameras, to use its cinematic photography technology in the concept phone. HONOR Magic V6: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU, 6,660mAh battery, 7.95″ foldable display

HONOR has officially unveiled its latest foldable phone, the HONOR Magic V6, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026.

The HONOR Magic V6 features an ultra-thin design that’s only 8.75mm when closed — about as thin as most standard brick phones.

HONOR also boasts that this intricate form factor still manages to be IP68/IP69 dust and water-resistant. It also features a new HONOR Super Steel Hinge, which is said to be one of the toughest, if not the toughest, currently on the market.

The company also teamed up with ATL for its fifth-generation silicon-carbon technology, achieving a capacity of 6,660mAh. It will support charging speeds of up to 80W and 66W for wired and wireless, respectively.

It has a large 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 foldable display, with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, achieving 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and uses an ultra-thin flexible glass that achieved an SGS Minimized Crease Certification after achieving 44% reduction in crease depth.

A similar panel is used for the 6.52-inch cover screen, but with a higher peak brightness of 6,000 nits in HDR content.

Of course, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.

For the cameras, the Magic V6 has a 200-megapixel main camera, joined by a 64-megapixel with a telephoto lens, 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and two 20-megapixel cameras for each of the displays.

Pricing and availability details for the HONOR Magic V6 in the Philippines is yet to be known.
