Infinix has updated its budget gaming phone line with the new Infinix GT 50 Pro.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 octa-core processor. Made for gaming, this chip has all performance cores with one clocked at 3.25GHz, three at 3.0GHz, and four at 2.1GHz.

It is paired with Infinix’s new HydroFlow liquid cooling system, with a 32,700mm2 total cooling area.
You’d get a feel of that extensive cooling system with the “Cooling Pipeline Window Display” which offers a 3D visualization of the liquid-cooling pipelines with a matching color.

It also has an updated cooling accessory. The GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0 has 12W TEC cooling power, 15W wireless charging support, and wireless bypass charging support. That device also works with other iOS and Android phones if you want to.
On the front, there’s the 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with a 2644 x 1208 pixel resolution, a high 4,500-nit peak brightness, 10-bit color, and 144Hz refresh rate with 330Hz touch sampling.

Like its predecessors, it has two shoulder triggers for games. It has 10 levels of pressure sensitivity to presses and can detect swipes. It also works even if you have sweaty or wet fingers. Oh, and it also works as a zoom dial when swiped.
The GT 50 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery with the same 45W wired charging support as before. It also has 30W wireless charging and Infinix’s new Battery Self-Healing technology that extends the device’s overall battery health.

For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter on the back, capable of 4K@60fps video recording, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 13-megapixel sensor on the front.
Of course, we still have RGB lighting in the back in an X shape. You can choose from 8 color combinations and 8 animation styles. Infinix also boasts that it will receive 5 years of security patches and 3 years of major OS upgrades.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro was already spotted in Indonesia with a starting price of IDR6,499,000 (~Php22,900) for the 12GB/256GB model. Release details in the Philippines shall be revealed very soon, so stay tuned.
