Xiaomi’s latest tablet has a few firsts: Having a 14-inch screen, making it their biggest tablet, and the first to use their in-house flagship chip, the Xring O1.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will take on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the iPad Pro with its enormous 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels, peak brightness of 1,600 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, premium 12-bit colors, and support for both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with an option between a regular glass and a nano-textured one that reduces reflections.

It then has a 3nm Xring O1 chip, Xiaomi’s first in-house chipset that also powers the Xiaomi 15S Pro. This one boasts a whopping 10-core CPU, with the prime cores reaching 3.7GHz.
The chipset also has a 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU and a 6-core NPU that offers 44 TOPS of AI power. You can get the tablet with up to 16GB of fast LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

How efficient this new chip is yet to be tested. Whatever the case, you should still get a decent longevity with its large 12,000mAh battery, paired with an ultra-fast 120W charging adapter.
Xiaomi also highlights its beefy stereo speakers that consist of four tweeters and 4 woofers with large 16.5cc chambers. Dolby Atmos is also supported.

The Pad 7 Ultra works with a premium magnesium alloy keyboard that provides a laptop-like experience. It also has a pressure-sensitive touchpad. Xiaomi also makes a dedicated stylus pen for it.
As with most Xiaomi devices, the Pad 7 Ultra will ship with HyperOS 2 on top of Android 15. It comes pre-installed with a CAD app, Office suite, and more. Sadly, it doesn’t seem to have an official IP rating for dust and water resistance.

Connectivity features are quite beefy with the latest WiFi 7 standards, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and connector pins for supported accessories.
Xiaomi didn’t skimp in the camera department. It equipped the Pad 7 Ultra with an ultra-sharp 50-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and uses an ultra-wide lens for video conferences and online presentations.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is now up for pre-order in China. The 12GB/256GB version retails for CNY5,699 (~Php43,800), 12GB/512GB for CNY5,999 (~Php46,100), and 16GB/1TB for CNY6,799 (~Php52,200).
Meanwhile, the Nano-Texture Glass version is available in 12GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB configurations for CNY6,599 (~Php50,700) and CNY7,399 (~Php56,900), respectively.
