HONOR has unveiled the first official renders of its upcoming Magic V5 foldable smartphone, confirming a remarkably slim design ahead of its July 2 launch in China.
At just 8.8mm thick when folded, the device matches the thickness of HONOR’s own Magic7 Pro, a regular bar phone, making it the slimmest foldable on the market.

The company released press images showcasing a glossy gold variant with a textured back and hinge, along with a triple-camera setup reminiscent to the Magic V3. While other specifications remain unconfirmed, leaks suggest the system includes a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, together with a yet to be revealed main and ultrawide sensor.

Rumors also indicate the HONOR Magic V5 will feature an 8-inch inner screen (unfolded) and a 6.45-inch outer display (folded). It’s expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset with 16GB RAM. A sizable 6,100mAh battery with 66W fast charging is also expected to address battery life concerns common in foldables.
