
Omdia’s latest preliminary report details the top smartphone vendors for the last quarter of 2025. The numbers are from sell-in shipments.
As per the report, Apple has dominated all Android markets in Q4 2025. The company shipped the most phones, garnering a market share of 25%. Omdia said this is due to the continued demand for the iPhone 17 series since its release in September.

The iPhone 16 series also saw an increased demand during the holiday season.
Apple has a significant lead over the second-placer, Samsung, which only had an 18% market share. Samsung’s numbers are boosted by its midrange phones, especially the Galaxy A17 4G and 5G.

Xiaomi had 11% market share, which is a pool of phones that includes those from Redmi and POCO. vivo and iQOO collectively had 8%, as well as OPPO and OnePlus.
The entire market achieved a year-over-year increase in Q4 2025, achieving a 4% growth from the same quarter the previous year.
