Xreal introduced an upgraded version of its affordable augmented reality glasses. The new Xreal 1S model replaces the earlier Xreal One from late 2024, offering better performance at a lower cost.
The new Xreal 1s functions as a personal wearable display. By connecting to a smartphone, laptop, or game console with a USB-C cable, it can project a large virtual screen in the user’s field of view. The experience simulates watching a display measuring approximately 171 inches, which can be adjusted to feel as large as 500 inches.

Key enhancements distinguish the new model. The updated micro OLED screens now have a 1200p resolution, improved from 1080p. The field of vision is slightly wider at 52 degrees, and peak brightness has increased to 700 nits. The price has also dropped from $499(~Php29,473) to $449(~Php26,500).
A demonstration at the event showed the 1S providing a crisp, immersive viewing experience suitable for movies and games, without causing significant eye strain.

Alongside the glasses, Xreal launched a companion product called the Neo. This $99 device combines a 10,000mAh battery with a DisplayPort hub, designed to extend usage time and simplify connections for portable gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch.
Both the Xreal 1S glasses and the Neo power + video hub are now available for purchase.
