Dyson has stepped into the personal cooling market with its first-ever portable fan. The new device is called the HushJet Mini Cool.
This little gadget uses Dyson’s own HushJet air projection technology. The company first introduced this system in an air purifier which users said are very quiet. Now they have packed it into a handheld fan.
Even though it is tiny, the Dyson HushJet Mini Cool fan is no toy. It has a brushless motor that rotates at 65,000 RPM and it can blow air at speeds up to 25 meters per second. That is strong enough to keep you cool during a heatwave. The whole device weighs only 7.5 ounces.

You can pick from five different speed settings. There is also a boost mode for extra cooling power. The fan charges using a USB-C cable and comes with a charging stand. It can stand up on its own, so it works well on a desk. The built-in battery gives you up to six hours of use on a full charge.
The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool costs $100 (~Php6,000) in the United States. The company is offering three color choices: gray, red, and blue.
Dyson has not yet confirmed an official pricing and release date for the Philippine market.
