After unveiling it late last year, Valve has finally announced the official price and availability of its most ambitious hardware, the Steam Machine. The Steam Machine base model, which has 512GB of storage, has an SRP of USD1,049 (~Php64,100) in the United States, while the 2TB variant retails for EUR1,349 (~Php82,400). But that’s just for the main unit. To get the Steam Controller, you should get the bundle priced at USD1,128 (~Php68,900) and USD1,428 (~Php87,200) for the 512GB and 2TB, respectively. Those interested can now sign up on the Steam Store until June 25, 10 AM Pacific time. After that, they will run a one-time randomization that will determine who can get one. For those who don’t know, the Steam Machine is like a proper console version of the Steam Deck. It is 6x more powerful and features a cube-shaped design, a light bar as an indicator for game download/status, and a magnetic face plate that you can easily interchange with different designs.

It is powered by an AMD Zen4 chip with 6 cores, 12 threads, up to 4.8GHz speeds, and 30W TDP. It also has an AMD RDNA3 GPU with 28 CUs and 110W DP. It comes with 16GB DDR5 + 8GB GDDR6 VRAM.

Sadly, official pricing in other markets like the Philippines is yet to be known.
