HONOR 600 Smart: 7,700mAh battery, 6.87″ HD+ IPS display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 CPU

HONOR has officially unveiled the HONOR 600 Smart. Obviously, the HONOR 600 Smart is cheaper than the HONOR 600 and 600 Pro . On the upside, it has a bigger 7,700mAh battery. Albeit, it has a slower 45W charging from 80W. There’s an enormous 6.87-inch IPS display on the front, but with only an HD+ resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, with only 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The software is handled by the Android 16-based MagicOS 10 interface. Stereo speakers provide the audio. HONOR hasn’t provided details regarding the selfie camera, but they did confirm it will have a 50-megapixel main shooter in the back. It’s also worth noting that it is IP64 dust and water-resistant and is drop-resistant by up to 2.5m. Like the selfie camera, the official pricing and availability of the HONOR 600 Smart are yet to be known. HONOR 600 Smart Specs Android 16, MagicOS 10 Dual SIM, Dual Standby 6.8...

Tim Cook confirms Apple device price hikes amid RAM shortage

Apple-device-price-hikes-ram-shortage

Many smartphone and computer makers have already announced price hikes due to the ongoing RAM shortage. Now, Apple is expected to follow suit.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, the outgoing Apple CEO confirmed that their product will soon face price hikes amid the price hikes the industry is facing.

“Unfortunately, price increases are unavoidable,” said Tim Cook, explaining that, while they’ve been doing their best “to mitigate the huge increases” passed to them, and how they’ve been “trying to shield” customers from the increases, the situation has become unsustainable.

Sadly, Cook has not provided the specifics as to which devices will be hit by the hikes and when they will be implemented. Chances are, we’ll see them on the upcoming iPhone 18 lineup.

Apple has done a commendable job of keeping new iPhone prices on par with previous generations. That streak, however, may come to an end with the 2026 models.
