NBA 2K27 official launch date set on September 4, price starts at Php2,920

2K has finally set the new NBA 2K27 for a worldwide release on September 4, 2026, with the Standard Edition available for pre-order for Php2,920 on Steam. Sony has not yet listed a PS5 PH price (2K’s official PS5 price is $69.99 / $99.99 / $149.99 USD), but it should close to the direct conversion of USD. Deluxe and Ultra follow at Php3,950 and Php5,400 on Steam PH, with Ultra limited to a pre-order window that closes September 6. Visual Concepts’ largest MyCAREER overhaul in years arrives as “Fire & Concrete,” an 11-chapter story. The modern path follows a top Duke commit whose detour starts with a car accident, resumes at a recreated Rucker Park, and runs through the G League. Vince Staples voices and mocaps the cousin Cam, and appears on the soundtrack. Two players can run MyCAREER through Running Mate Trace Miller — a G League teammate with nine build templates — with AI filling in offline. A separate branch layers historically locked ...

Godox P100 brings auto-lamination to smartphone photo printing

Godox-P100

Godox has just released a new pocket-sized photo printer called the Godox P100. It lets you print snapshots straight from your phone, and it adds a protective layer to each photo as part of the printing process.

The Godox P100 is small and light enough to take anywhere. It weighs about as much as a smartphone and measures roughly the size of a thick portable charger. The rounded edges make it easy to hold, and it can slide into most bags without any hassle. Charging happens through a USB-C port, and it works with common phone chargers that output 5V and 2A.

On the inside, the printer uses dye-sublimation technology, which is known for producing rich and accurate colors. It prints at 300 dpi and can handle millions of color shades. The paper and ink ribbon come together in one cartridge, so replacing them is simple. You just open a side panel and swap in a new one. Each print gives you a photo that measures 86 by 53 mm, with a slightly larger paper size around it.

What sets this printer apart is the automatic laminating step. After the image is printed, the machine applies a clear coating over the surface. This helps guard against water marks, smudges, and dust. It also offers some protection against scratches and moisture, so your pictures are more likely to stay looking fresh over time.

Connecting to the printer is done through Bluetooth. If your phone has NFC, you can tap it against the device for faster pairing. The accompanying app, which works on both iPhone and Android, gives you basic editing options like filters, frames, and collage tools. There is also a feature that helps you create ID photos in standard passport and visa sizes, complete with background color options.

The Godox P100 is now on sale in China and it comes with a starter cartridge that holds 10 sheets of paper. Replacement packs with 20 sheets are sold separately. The printer itself is priced at CNY699 (~Php6,400).

Amazon announces two new Tomb Raider games

Get ready to dust off your climbing axes. Lara Croft, the legendary treasure hunter, is returning to consoles and computers in a big way. Following a long break from solo adventures, two major new games in the Tomb Raider series were revealed at The Game Awards 2025. The last time players controlled Lara in a core series game was 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Now, publisher Amazon Games and longtime developer Crystal Dynamics are bringing her back with a pair of distinct projects. The first is Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis , a full remake of the original 1996 game that started it all. It is being built with Unreal Engine 5 by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog. Fans can expect a visual overhaul for Lara’s first journey, which the announcement suggests will still include prehistoric creatures. This remake is planned for launch in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Following that will be Tomb Raider: Catalyst , an entirely new story set for release in 2027....

Sei Crypto Wallet to come pre-installed on Xiaomi phones

Xiaomi and The Sei Development Foundation, a non-profit that promotes the Sei network, have entered a global partnership that aims to promote mainstream blockchain adoption. From 2026, Xiaomi phones available outside mainland China and the United States will come pre-installed with a wallet and crypto discovery app developed by Sei Labs. This would definitely help increase the adoption of the network as Xiaomi is one of the biggest smartphone vendors in the world, just behind Samsung and Apple. Participating phones will be able to conduct peer-to-peer payments, explore Web3 products, and access decentralized applications without the need to download third-party apps. What’s more, Sei plans to implement stablecoin payments in over 20,000 Xiaomi stores, starting in Hong Kong and the European Union. Sei Labs aims to “build a decentralized NASDAQ” and targets to accommodate 200,000 transactions per second as it aims to shift the financial ecosystem on-chain. To make it possible, th...
