HUAWEI MatePad Air 2026 priced in the Philippines

HUAWEI finally launches the MatePad Air 2026 in the Philippines. The HUAWEI MatePad Air 2026 was first unveiled abroad in July. It boasts a 12-inch 2.8K OLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It has HUAWEI’s PaperMatte coating for a paper-like writing experience with a M-Pencil stylus and has better reflection resistance. HUAWEI hasn’t confirmed the processor they used on this device, but reports suggests it has a Kirin T93C chipset. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Made for productivity, it comes preinstalled with PC-level WPS Office Suite. Apart from the M-Pencil stylus, it is also best used with a keyboard case and wireless mouse for better productivity. Keeping the lights on is a large 10,100mAh battery with 66W wired charging. It runs on HarmonyOS 4.3. Also here are the six stereo speakers, 50-megapixel main camera, and 12-megapixel selfie camera. AirPods 5 prices in the Philippines

Apple has unveiled the new AirPods 5, along with its official price here in the Philippines that’s surprisingly cheaper than its predecessor.

As per Apple, the new AirPods 5 has the best active noise cancellation (ANC). Compared to its predecessor, it can remove up to 50% more external noise.

Apple also improved the Transparency Mode to reproduce ambient sounds and voice more naturally.

In terms of sound, the new AirPods have a new multiport acoustic architecture and next-gen Adaptive EQ for a richer, more detailed sound for a wider range of ear sizes and geometries.

Like the new Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4, the new AirPods have upgraded intelligent features and hands-free features.

It works well with Siri AI when paired with Apple Intelligence-supported devices on iOS 27. There’s the Siri Interactions, allowing users to discreetly respond to Siri AI by nodding or shaking their head. Live Translation is also here.

To give users a motivation to get the more expensive Wireless Charging Case version, it will come with a Force sensor that can finally register swipes to adjust the volume.

Battery life was also improved, but only for the Wireless Charging version, which now lasts for up to 5 hours with ANC on. A 1-hour improvement than before. It lasts for up to 22 hours with the charging case. The fancier version also have a speaker on the case for Find My.

For the standard, non-wireless charging version, you still get a 4-hour battery life with a total of 20 hours with the case. Both version can now be charged using an Apple Watch charger.

The Apple AirPods 5 has an SRP of Php9,490, while the one with a Wireless Charging Case, Force sensor, and longer battery life costs Php10,990.
