TECNO CAMON Slim 5G is coming to PH on October 1

TECNO will bring the CAMON Slim 5G to the Philippines on October 1, 2026, with local pricing set to be confirmed at launch.

The TECNO CAMON Slim 5G is built around a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. Despite packing a 6,000mAh battery, the device measures just 6.39mm thin and weighs roughly 190g. TECNO credits the slim build to the swan-neck curve design language inherited from its flagship CAMON 50 series.

On the back, the CAMON Slim 5G carries a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and optical image stabilization, paired with an 8MP ultrawide with autofocus. A 32MP shooter handles selfies up front. The triple-stabilization system combines OIS, AI Electronic Image Stabilization, and what TECNO calls “AI Shutter.” Super-Zoom FlashSnap can capture motion at shutter speeds as fast as 1/11236 second, the company says, and supports up to 2x telephoto snap shooting. Multi-focal-length portraits are available at 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm.

Five colorways will be offered locally: Burgundy Red, Matisse Black, Neo Mondrian, Van Gogh Blue, and Rebel Pink — each named after an art movement or master. Neo Mondrian uses photochromic technology that reveals color blocks under UV light, while Van Gogh Blue mimics the swirling nebula of The Starry Night through a patterned gradient coating.

The phone runs HiOS 16 on Android 16, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G processor with up to 8GB of physical RAM (expandable to 24GB via extended memory). It carries an IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating and MIL-STD-810 drop certification, plus 45W Super Charge support.

AI features include AI Snap Poster for merchant product photos, AI LightMaster 2.0 for reflection removal, AI Recording Notes for lecture transcription, and AI Healthy Eating for calorie estimation. AI availability varies by market, TECNO notes.

Alongside the CAMON Slim 5G, the company is launching the TECNO MagBadge — a 29-gram magnetic accessory with a 1.73-inch AMOLED display, 450mAh battery, and Bluetooth pairing. It works as a remote shutter up to 10 meters and as a selfie preview screen. The MagBadge goes on sale starting September 29 through TECNO’s official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop stores, two days ahead of the phone.

Eligible buyers in select markets will receive a three-month trial of Google AI Plus with 2TB of storage at no extra cost. Official PH pricing, exact RAM and storage configurations, and confirmed color availability of the TECNO CAMON Slim 5G will be announced on October 1.

Amazon announces two new Tomb Raider games
