Smart opens iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders, starts at Php3,713/month on Plans+ 1499

Smart Communications is now taking pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in the Philippines, with monthly payments starting at Php3,713 and Php4,050 under Smart Postpaid Plans+ 1499. Both plans come with an open-line device, a year of UNLI 5G connectivity, Open Access Data, priority on the Smart 5G network, and a Unli App bundle the subscriber picks. Card installments run interest-free for up to 24 months at partner banks, and renewing postpaid customers can stretch device amortization to 36 months on their bill. Smart Infinity members can pair the Pro line with the Infinity Plan 5000 — now bundled with Infinity Roam+ for international travel — or the Infinity Plus Plan 9500, which adds two Supplementary Lines to one Primary Line. They also receive the Php5,000 Smart Accessories voucher and a PowerMac e-voucher.

The Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 follow on October 9. The Series 12 is available for Php1,521 monthly on a zero-interest Device Add-On, or Php28,900 outright on Smart Postpaid Plans+ 999. The Ultra 4 comes in at Php2,467 per month on the same add-on, or Php49,200 outright on the same plan. At Php199 a month, Smart Device Link lets subscribers tie multiple Apple devices to one postpaid account.

Pre-orders are available at Smart Stores across the Philippines and at smart.com.ph/iphone18-preorder. Infinity members can dial *800 or contact their Relationship Manager. Local PH availability begins October 16.

Amazon announces two new Tomb Raider games

Get ready to dust off your climbing axes. Lara Croft, the legendary treasure hunter, is returning to consoles and computers in a big way. Following a long break from solo adventures, two major new games in the Tomb Raider series were revealed at The Game Awards 2025.
