OPPO Find X10 Series introduced in PH, price starts at Php99,999

OPPO ‘s newest flagship smartphones has officially arrived in the Philippines. Pre-orders are now open, with the Find X10 Pro Max priced at Php129,999 and the base Find X10 at Php99,999 . As expected, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the better device among the two. Every rear lens on it, main, ultra-wide, telephoto, uses a 200-megapixel camera, the first handset to get that on all three. The base model keeps two of those sensors at 200-megapixel and drops only the ultra-wide to 50-megapixel. Both run the LUMO True Image Engine, whose True Color Camera reads 24 spectral channels and stretches dynamic range to 5.5x the previous generation’s, with Hasselblad Master Mode applying the Swedish maker’s color science. The Pro Max adds DeepPix inside its ISOCELL HPC main sensor, built with Samsung, stretching HDR headroom to 17 stops. OPPO Find X10 Elsewhere the two models have a lot of hardware similarities. Xbox handheld could arrive in 2027, Xbox Helix pushed to 2028 — report

Microsoft plans to launch its next-generation Xbox , codenamed Helix , in time for the 2028 holiday season, according to a Fortune report. The console could be priced between $1,200 and $1,800 unless Microsoft subsidizes it. The high cost is tied to rising memory prices. AI data centers have taken up most memory and storage production, pushing DRAM and NAND costs up five times. The Xbox Series X launched in 2020 at $500, and Microsoft has already raised its price several times. A handheld Xbox may come sooner, possibly by the 2027 holiday season. Unlike the Asus-made ROG Xbox Ally, which runs on Windows, it would likely play digital Xbox console games. The report also says Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, who replaced Phil Spencer earlier this year, wants to turn Game Pass into an à la carte service where users pick specific add-ons and online features. She has said she wants to make the service more affordable. Sony faces similar pressure. The PlayStation 5 Pro now sells fo...

Supreme Court starts e-notarization nationwide

Filipinos can now have documents notarized electronically anywhere in the country. The Supreme Court rolled out the service, giving commissioned electronic notaries public the ability to notarize qualified digital documents through accredited platforms. The Supreme Court’s e-notarization puts into practice the Rules on Electronic Notarization under A.M. No. 24-10-14-SC. The Supreme Court En Banc gave its approval to these rules on February 4, 2025. Two modes of electronic notarization are allowed under the rules. One is In-Person Electronic Notarization (IEN), where the signer must appear in person before the electronic notary. The other is Remote Electronic Notarization (REN), which takes place over videoconferencing. Notaries may also use a mix of both. Electronic notaries public with a commission can perform electronic notarial acts outside the territorial boundaries that limit traditional notaries, as long as they comply with the rules. Documents must be s...

Technology companies topped the list at 49%, followed by financial services at 45% and professional services at 40%. Results showed gains for those who took the plunge. Productivity improved for 74% of adopters, higher than the 70% recorded a year ago. Revenue grew for 68%, compared with 64%. On average, adopters saw revenue rise 20%, surpassing the earlier forecast of 15%. Use, however, stays largely simple. Public chatbots, productivity tools, and off-the-shelf solutions remain the main applications for 70% of adopters. Eighteen percent have spread AI across several functions, while 12% employ advanced setups like custom systems and agentic AI. A formal plan for wider AI use exists in only 1...

TNT wins gold at 2026 SMARTIES Philippines awards

TNT , Smart Communications’ value brand, took home the Philippines’ Creator/Influencer/Celebrity Marketing gold at the 2026 SMARTIES Philippines awards for a campaign that put paranormal expert Ed Caluag inside a haunted house, where the signal kept breaking. Smart’s marketing services operations VP Raymond Anthony T. Samarista and representatives from WPP Media Philippines took the trophy, alongside SMARTIES juror Paul Debaprateem of Sodexo Philippines. MMA’s SMARTIES program rewards campaigns for measurable business impact, and entries are grouped under four marketing channels. The spot first ran in February 2026, with creative from Ace Saatchi & Saatchi and media planning handled by Wavemaker Philippines — WPP Media. Caluag streams an investigation of an old house, and every time a ghost appears the feed stutters. The spirits, tired of the broken stream, start interrupting him right back — a joke that lands because the complaint underneath it is r...

Riot Games to shutdown League of Legends Classic in January 2027

Riot Games will shut down League of Legends Classic in early January 2027, the company announced in a blog post. The throwback mode launched in July but lost players quickly. Many returned to other parts of League, Riot said. Before the shutdown, Riot will add windowed queues in regions with long wait times and keep adding champions through 2026 patches. Riot plans to bring Classic back later, likely as a limited-time event shaped by player feedback. The mode was promoted with a live match featuring ten retired pros at this summer’s Mid-Season Invitational. Unlike Blizzard’s successful World of Warcraft Classic, Riot’s version failed to keep players interested long term.
