Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just released a couple of affordable hardware in the country. One of them is the new Redmi Watch 3.
Priced at under Php5,000, the new Redmi Watch 3 tries to impress by having extra features we only see on more expensive models. One of them is the built-in GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and BDS — which can track your routes when running, walking, biking, and more.
It also comes with a large 1.75-inch AMOLED screen that offers 600 nits of peak brightness for outdoor visibility. The large screen and the decent 70% screen-to-body ratio mean there is more room to show apps and arrange them as you like.
Made for youngsters, it comes in a variety of vibrant straps that you can purchase separately. The watch itself comes in two colors: black and ivory (white). You can match the straps with over 200 custom watch faces.
The watch, despite its metallic middle frame, only weighs 37g. It is also 5ATM water resistant so you can use it in the pool.
It then has more than 120 workout modes that also include hiking, pool swimming, and more.
As expected, it has blood oxygen monitoring, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, stress monitoring, deep breathing exercise, and female health management.
For the battery, Xiaomi claims that it can last for up to 12 days. It also has a built-in mic and speakers for Bluetooth calls. There’s also an Alexa voice assistant built-in.
Launched alongside the Redmi Note 12 series, the Redmi Watch 3 has an SRP of Php4,999 and will be discounted to Php4,499 from April 15 to 23. You can get it at Xiaomi’s physical stores, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
