Samsung has finally brought back the rotating bezel with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which was announced alongside the vanilla Watch 6 and a whole bunch of other mobile devices.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic comes in 43mm and 47mm sizes and has a rotating bezel around the Super AMOLED display covered by sapphire crystal. The mechanism lets you easily navigate on the interface, zoom in with the camera viewfinder feature, and more.
Meanwhile, the vanilla Galaxy Watch 6 lacks the rotating bezel. Albeit, thanks to this, it has thinner bezels resulting in larger displays at 1.3-inch for the 40mm and 1.5-inch for the 44mm.
Both models will be powered by the new Exynos W930 dual-core processors with higher clock speeds of 1.4Ghz. Samsung also increased the RAM to 2GB, paired with 16GB of internal storage.
But the biggest improvement here are on the software. The Galaxy Watch 6 series can now do in-depth sleep analysis thanks to the heart-rate and temperature sensor. It also has ECG, fall detection, menstrual cycle prediction, and even blood pressure monitoring.
The duo also get 425mAh batteries for the bigger sizes and 300mAh for the smaller ones. They are also IP68 certified as it can be submerged by up to 5ATM of water. They are also MIL-STD-810H rated.
Here in the Philippines the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic retails for Php22,990 for the 43mm and Php24,990 for the 47mm. The vanilla Watch 6 comes in at Php16,990 for the 40mm and Php18,990 for the 44mm.
