The vivo V40 made its grand Philippine debut in Okada Manila last September 18. The event was made extra grandiose by brand ambassadors Anne Curtis and Maine Mendoza sporting their stunning looks inspired by the vibrant colorways of the new device.
Two of the most sought-after stars posed for photos, showcasing the stunning colorways of the vivo V40: Nebula Purple and Sunglow Peach.
Anne and Maine looked extra stunning in the photos as they were taken with the vivo V40’s powerful 50-megapixel cameras, co-engineered with ZEISS. The duo was photographed using the device’s ZEISS Multifocal Portrait features, bringing the photos to life, and providing a professional quality similar to what ZEISS optics are known for.
Guests at the event also had a chance the test out the ZEISS Multifocal Portrait feature of the vivo V40 themselves. The feature will let users take magazine-quality portraits using three of the most popular focal lengths in photography: 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm.
Other than taking pictures with vivo’s brand ambassadors, the event was also attended by Phil Zhong from vivo Headquarters, who showcased the vivo V40’s ultra-slim design, powerful performance, large 5,500mAh BlueVolt battery, and IP58 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
vivo Europe’s Daniel Goetz was also there to dig deeper into the device’s imaging and portrait capabilities, while ZEISS Consumer Products rep Franziska Hoffman shared new and exciting advancements in the vivo-ZEISS partnership.
The event then continued with fun games played with both Anne and Maine, as well as seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry. Lucky participants won prizes such as a vivo TWS 3e and autographed memorabilia.
Participants and brand ambassadors immortalized the moment by taking a ZEISS Group Selfie from the vivo V40’s 50-megapixel front camera, which has a 92-degree wide field-of-view to fit everyone on the frame and has an autofocus function.
Sharing their thoughts on the new device, Anne Curtis marveled at the V40’s ZEISS co-engineered cameras and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. “I just found out that it’s dust and waterproof, up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes! Isn’t that amazing? It’s perfect for traveling,” she said.
Meanwhile, Maine was also impressed with the vivo V40’s ZEISS ALL Main Camera and the AI Aura Light by saying “I also love to travel, so having a professional-grade pocket camera wherever I go is really convenient.”
If you missed the event, you can catch the replay on the vivo Facebook page. Those who are interested in pre-ordering the vivo V40 can do so until September 27 and get a Php2,000 discount.
