Valve, the company behind the popular handheld gaming console Steam Deck (available on LCD and OLED), has announced a limited-edition white color option of the Steam Deck OLED, just in time for the Black Friday Sale.
The White Steam Deck OLED costs $679 (~Php40,000). However, due to its limited quantity, Valve implemented a purchase limit of one unit per Steam account with allocation proportional across each region.
While this is an exciting addition for those looking to buy a white version of the console, it won’t be available in the Philippines. However, it will be available via Komodo in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Here are the specs of the White Steam Deck OLED:
- 7.4-inch 1280 x 800 HDR OLED display with premium anti-glare etched glass
- 6nm APU
- 1TB NVMe SSD
- Wi-Fi 6E
- 50Whr battery; 3-12 hours of gameplay (content dependent)
- 45W power supply (2.5m cable + pouch included)
- Limited edition carrying case with removable liner
- Steam Profile Bundle (same as 1TB OLED model)
- Boot video (same as 1TB OLED model)
- Virtual keyboard theme (same as 1TB OLED model)
Valve also pointed out that this white Steam Deck OLED will only be manufactured once, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
So, if you’re a gamer collector in the Philippines, you may want to contact a friend in the country who will receive their supply of the product.
