SMART subscribers were able to “unbox the future” during the midnight launch of the new iPhone 16, which featured GMA7’s Kyline Alcantara and basketball standout Kobe Paras at the Smart Store in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
Kobe was particularly excited about the iPhone 16’s new and improved camera settings, perfect for his love of picture-taking. The latest flagship iPhones can now capture better moments than their predecessors due to their advanced Photographic styles, Camera Control, and Zero Shutter Lag.
Meanwhile, Kyline was more thrilled with the iPhone 16’s improved battery life, stating that she always forgot to charge her phone, so a longer battery life was helpful for her. Apple Inc. says the iPhone 16 model can go up to around 50% battery charge in under 30 minutes.
In addition to the improved iPhones, the first 16 subscribers to purchase the new iPhone 16 received Php3,000 worth of vouchers and phone accessories from SMART. That’s not all. Sixteen iPads were also given to 16 lucky Smart subscribers who attended the midnight launch.
“SMART is making it easier for subscribers to get their new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro,” said Kristine Go, Senior Vice President for Smart Customer Wireless Business.
New Postpaid subscribers can now upgrade to the latest iPhone with a low downpayment under Plans+ 999 for only Php1,300 per month.
Meanwhile, Smart Prepaid subscribers can also upgrade to iPhone 16 for as low as Php2,313 per month for 24 months at absolutely zero percent interest.
