Marshall Middleton II speaker packs better 360-degree sound and 30-hour battery

Marshall has unveiled its latest compact Bluetooth speaker, the Middleton II, an upgrade to the 2023 model. The new version promises richer, room-filling sound with deeper bass and better performance at high volumes, all while maintaining its small, portable design. The Marshall Middleton II features two 30-watt woofers and two 10-watt tweeters, arranged to deliver clear 360-degree audio. Marshall says the improvements make it sound even better than its predecessor, which was already praised for its surprisingly powerful output despite its small size. Battery life gets a significant boost as well, now lasting over 30 hours on a single charge, up from the original’s 20 hours. A quick 20-minute charge provides enough power to keep the music going, and the speaker can also double as a power bank to charge your phone. HONOR X9c Smart: Dimensity 7025 Ultra CPU, 6.8″ 120Hz display, 5800mAh battery

HONOR-X9c-Smart

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart.

The HONOR X9c Smart is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, albeit not many details are available on this chip. What we know is that it has the same 2.5GHz clock speed and IMG BXM-8-256 GPU as the non-Ultra chip.

As for the design, it has the same ring camera layout on the back as the X9b and X9a and comes in Ocean Cyan and Moonlight White colorways. HONOR also brags how it is only 7.8mm thick and only weighs 193g.

It also received an SGS 5-star comprehensive reliability rating for having a 2-meter drop resistance. It’s not clear if it received an official ingress protection rating, but HONOR claims it’s waterproof and will work even with greasy hands.

The camera island holds a sharp 108-megapixel main camera but only a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is on the front, on top of the large 6.8-inch FHD+ display.

There’s a large 5,800mAh battery that can last for up to 19.8 hours of online video streaming. It will come with a 35W charging adapter and, sadly, still Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 instead of the newer version.
