Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Watch 5 in the Philippines, alongside new midrange phones and other accessories
The Redmi Watch 5 comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a smartphone-like resolution of 324 pixels per inch, smooth 60Hz refresh rate, and 1500 nits of peak brightness. It has a 2.5D curved glass and thin bezels for an impressive 822% screen-to-body ratio.
There’s a stainless-steel rotating crown on the side so you can control and navigate the interface better. Xiaomi retained the quick-release design for the straps. Plus, new watch faces to match your style and outfit.
For convenience, the Watch 5 is capable of Bluetooth calls via the built-in speakers and dual microphones with noise cancellation. It also has an 80cm directional sound pickup so you don’t have to put up the watch so close to your mouth. It can also be used for on-device voice recording.
Xiaomi claims that the battery last for up to 24 days under normal use.
For health and fitness, the Watch 5 has all-day monitoring for heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress, and sleep. It utilizes the upgraded AFE chip that’s said to be 5.2% more accurate for scanning heart rate and 10% better in sleep recognition.
It has over 150 sports modes that include outdoor workouts thanks to the built-in GNSS and water sports as the watch is 5ATM water-resistant.
The Redmi Watch 5 has an SRP of Php5,299 in the Philippines. But, from January 16 to 22, you can get it at Shopee Philippines for only Php4,599.
