Meet the newest title-holder for being the thinnest foldable phone in the world, the OPPO Find N5. The OPPO Find N5 steals the crown from the HONOR Magic V3 for being the thinnest foldable phone in the market. It’s only 4.21mm thin when unfolded and only 8.93mm when folded. That’s about as thin as your regular bar smartphone. OPPO pulled this off by using the new Titanium Flexion Hinge that’s 26% smaller than its predecessor while also having better rigidity. The company also used an elaborate 3D-printed titanium wing panel and a blend of carbon fiber materials to keep the weight down. Apart from its sleekness, the Find N5 is also fairly durable. It’s the first foldable phone to have IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 rating for water resistantance. This means it can survive pressurized water jets and hot water. Apple has officially killed the iPhone SE line-up. So now, we’re getting the iPhone 16e, and since it’s now part of the main line-up, we may start getting a budget iPhone every year.

The iPhone 16e sets itself apart from the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro series by lacking the popular Dynamic Island and sticks with the good ol’ notch.

It also lacks MagSafe but still gets 7.5W Qi wireless charging. Also, it only has a single 48-megapixel camera on the back but can do 2x lossless zoom.

On the upside, it is powered by the latest A18 chip also found on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. This means it supports Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI features.

It is also the first iPhone to have Apple’s own C1 network chip that supports satellite connectivity, Find My via Satellite, Roadside Assistance, and more.

For the screen, we have a compact 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel with Ceramic Shield glass. Apple claims the battery can last up to six hours longer than the iPhone 11 and up to 12 hours longer than “all generations of iPhone SE.”
