SecureLink Networks, Inc., a joint venture between telecom service provider PT&T Corp. and Australia’s Netlinkz Ltd., plans to develop a multimillion-dollar technology lab in the Philippines to further improve and strengthen connectivity and cybersecurity in the country.
SecureLink also formally launched Virtual Secure Network Plus (VSN+), a cybersecurity and networking solution developed by Netlinkz for the Philippine market and beyond.
VSN+ is described as integrating military-grade encryption, zero-trust architecture, and end-to-end data protection to create a secure, private, and scalable digital environment.
James Tsiolis, Chairman of SecureLink and CEO of Netlinkz, stated that they are engaging with local development firms to establish a lab for licensing the technology in the Philippines.
James Velasquz, CEO and co-founder of SecureLink, said that combining Australia’s cutting-edge tech and PT&T’s local expertise will allow them to provide secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions for businesses and the government.
The planned technology lab will initially be built in Makati, where PT&T’s office is located, and is set to commence within the year.
