Thanks to technological advancements, the world has developed rapidly, and part of this development is ensuring that we communicate easily and stay updated with the happenings not only among family and friends but also throughout the world. Samsung-Galaxy-S25-Edge-Specs-Features

Samsung has released the ultra-thin member of the Galaxy S25 series and decided to bring back the “Edge” branding.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge comes out before the long-rumored iPhone Air. It seems that the goal here is to bring back the race of who can manufacture the thinnest smartphone, something that the market has already moved on from.

This one is only 5.8mm and weighs 163g, which is much thinner and lighter than most phones that average at around 8mm and 180g, respectively.

One downside of having an ultra-thin profile is the battery. It only has a 3,900mAh capacity, versus the average 5,000mAh that others have. On the upside, charging is relatively fast, especially with Samsung’s insistence on capping the speeds at 25W. They claim a 30-minute charge only gets you to 55%. No wireless charging, though.

The rest of the specs look like your typical flagship Android phone. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, the same one found on the thicker Galaxy S25 phones.

It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. It runs on Android 15-based One UI 7 with Samsung’s reputable extensive software support. It also has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.

There’s a sharp 200-megapixel main camera on the back with optical image stabilization and capable of lossless 2x digital zoom, hence the lack of a dedicated telephoto lens. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide is also here that doubles as a macro lens.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is available for USD1,099.99 (~Php61,300) and USD1,219.99 (~Php67,900) for the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB models, respectively. It’s now listed in the United States with release details in the Philippines yet to be known.
