realme announces Android 16 rollout, to start with GT 7 Series

realme has confirmed that its flagship GT 7 series will be among the first devices to receive the Android 16 update , several weeks after Google’s stable release of the new operating system last month. To deliver on its commitment of longer software support, the company plans to rollout Android 16 with realme UI 7 to the flagship GT 7 Series and other older devices. The realme GT 7 Pro , powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, will be the first to receive the update, followed by the GT 7 and GT 7T , which run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e and 8400 processors, respectively. Once the GT 7 series rollout is complete, realme will shift focus to the GT 6 lineup, including the GT 6 and GT 6T. Itel outs a new budget phone in the Philippines, the Itel City 100.

The new Itel City 100 poses as an elegant, sleek, and durable smartphone for under Php10,000. It has a unibody design that’s only 7.65mm thin and has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Itel highlights its dedicated magnetic case, letting you attach accessories like the limited-edition MagSpeaker with a transparent design and RGB lights. Itel will also offer a magnetic bracket, wallet, cooling fan, and possibly more in the future.

The implementation is similar to what Infinix is doing. Phones like the Note 50 Pro also come with a magnetic case that lets you attach different accessories to it.

Powering the device is a 4G-only UNISOC T7250 CPU with up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It is equipped with DeepSeek AI for all your AI needs.

HONOR X9c Smart: Dimensity 7025 Ultra CPU, 6.8″ 120Hz display, 5800mAh battery

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart. The HONOR X9c Smart is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, albeit not many details are available on this chip. What we know is that it has the same 2.5GHz clock speed and IMG BXM-8-256 GPU as the non-Ultra chip.
