Apple has updated the iPad Pro and the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the latest M5 silicon chip. For today, we’ll focus on the laptop. The new Macbook Pro M5 is powered by a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The new chip is exclusive to the 14-inch model and has yet to reach the 16-inch model. Prices as the same as its predecessor. The base model with 16GB/512GB configuration retails for Php99,990 , the 16GB/1TB is sold for Php112,990, while the 24GB/1TB is at Php125,990. The line-up of the 14-inch MacBook Pro now consists of the M5 models, followed by the M4 Pro that starts at Php129,990 and the M4 Max for Php201,990. HUAWEI’s new premium and ultra-premium smartwatches are now in the Philippines.
The HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2, a step up to the Watch GT 6 and GT 6 Pro, has a bigger and more intimidating design. It has a sharp and octagonal liquid metal watch case and a ceramic bezel.
It then has a sapphire glass protecting the 1.5-inch LTPO display that offers 3500-nits of peak brightness.
Made for divers, HUAWEI claims it’s the first 150-metre diving smartwatch and received ISO 22810 and EN 13319 certifications. It even has a sonar-based underwater communication feature with a range of up to 30 metres.
You can add co-divers to the watch for communication, do above-water tests, and play with the Diving Mode Selection to customize gas and water types and more.
Apart from underwater activities, the Watch Ultimate 2 has upgraded antennas for eSIM calls and navigation. Advanced features for golfers are also here, like zoomable maps of over 17,000 courses and ball trajectory sharing.
It also has QR and NFC code sharing, smart gestures, phone-free calls over eSIM, and on-watch navigation.
The HUAWEI TrueSense health sensor has been paired with the new Multi-Sensing X-TAP Technology that can scan your fingertips to gather more data.
For the battery, HUAWEI said it can last for up to 4.5 days on Android and 3.5 days on iOS under typical use with AOD enabled.
The HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2 has an SRP of Php44,999 and is now available on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and HUAWEI’s official website.
