Macbook Pro M5 price in the Philippines

Apple has updated the iPad Pro and the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the latest M5 silicon chip. For today, we’ll focus on the laptop. The new Macbook Pro M5 is powered by a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The new chip is exclusive to the 14-inch model and has yet to reach the 16-inch model. Prices as the same as its predecessor. The base model with 16GB/512GB configuration retails for Php99,990 , the 16GB/1TB is sold for Php112,990, while the 24GB/1TB is at Php125,990. The line-up of the 14-inch MacBook Pro now consists of the M5 models, followed by the M4 Pro that starts at Php129,990 and the M4 Max for Php201,990. As per Apple, the M5 chip offers “6x faster AI Performance than M1” and lasts 14 hours longer than the Intel-based MacBook Pro. The new M5 models come with a 16-core Neural Engine. The OPPO A5 5G received an IP65 dust and water resistance rating that protects it from accidental water exposure and is also MIL-STD-810H rated for its Military-Grade Shock Resistance, offering 160% better impact resistance than its predecessor.

It has a big 6,000mAh battery, OPPO says can retain 80% of its battery health after five years. The handset comes with a 45W SUPERVOOC charger, giving you a 30% charge in just 21 minutes or 50% at 37 minutes.

Performance is handled by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor that offers a 10% performance boost over its predecessor. A 6GB RAM covers multitasking, joined by a 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that’s expandable via a microSD card.

We only have an HD+ IPS display, but do have a high 120Hz refresh rate and have ensured protection thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The Glove Touch mode improve touch sensitivity while the Outdoor Mode boosts brightness, volume, and network performance — great for motorcycle riders.

A 50-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel mono sensors are on the back, while the front has the 8-megapixel main shooter. It runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15. It should receive at least 3 years of software support.

The OPPO A5 5G 6GB/128GB is now listed on Lazada Philippines for Php9,999. It was launched globally with a Green colorway, but only Mist White is available locally. It should hit physical stores very soon.

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart.
