“No evidence of data breach” — GCash says after user info allegedly sold on the dark web

A post circulating online shows a listing on the dark web selling GCash user information. The National Privacy Commission then posted a press statement stating that it immediately launched an investigation and issued a Notice to Explain to G-Xchange, Inc., GCash’s parent company. You can read NPC’s full statement below: But just after an hour after NPC’s press release, GCash has released their statement on social media and within the GCash app advising its users that there is “no evidence of data breach.” “Upon swift investigation of our cybersecurity experts, the alleged dataset does not match data from GCash systems,” they explained. Xiaomi’s latest Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update has finally finished its beta testing phase and will now roll out globally.

The Xiaomi HyperOS 3 update will first arrive on the Xiaomi 15T series. The update is also now available on the Xiaomi Watch S4 and Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Glimmer Edition.

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart. The HONOR X9c Smart is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, albeit not many details are available on this chip.
