The DJI Neo 2, a compact drone made for beginners, was just launched and immediately made its way to the Philippines.
Like its predecessor, the DJI Neo 2 was meant to be straightforward to operate using hand gestures and the mobile app. But with the new version, DJI added support for the RC-N3 remote for advanced controls.

This drone is so portable that it weighs less than your average smartphone at just 151g. Albeit now slightly heavier than the first-gen’s 135g.
DJI said that it now flies faster at up to 5m/s in sports mode compared to its predecessor’s 2m/s. Battery life is also slightly improved, with a flight time of up to 19 minutes (from 18 minutes).

They also improved its stability against wind with a Level 5 rating from Level 4.
The Neo 2 has a 1/2-inch sensor like its predecessor, but now has a brighter f/2.2 lens and better 2-axis gimbal for stabilization.

It can now record videos at up to 4K@60fps quality in horizontal mode and 2.7K@60fps in vertical. If you want to improve its WiFi video transmission, you can plug a DJI O4 system, improving the range by up to 10km (from 500m).
DJI also included a forward-facing LiDAR with an omnidirectional vision system that also enables its ActiveTrack feature through the Cycling mode.
