HONOR previews its futuristic Robot Phone

After teasing it a few months ago, HONOR’s futuristic Robot Phone has been previewed in China ahead of its scheduled showcase at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in March. This is the first time the HONOR Robot Phone was showcased in the flesh. If you’re not familiar, this prototype has a full-on gimbal camera on the back. It retracts when not in use, but when fired up, it looks like a DJI Osmo Pocket built into your phone. Newer developments revealed that the Robot Phone will come in Gold, White, and Black colorways. Depending on the color, you get a faux leather or glass rear panel. It then has an aluminum chassis and a glass window below the camera island — very similar to the latest iPhone 17 Pro series. HONOR X9c Smart: Dimensity 7025 Ultra CPU, 6.8″ 120Hz display, 5800mAh battery

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart. The HONOR X9c Smart is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, albeit not many details are available on this chip.
