vivo S50: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU, 120Hz AMOLED display, 6500mAh battery

vivo has introduced the S50 in China, alongside the S50 Pro mini. The vivo S50 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and has a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also enjoys a fast 90W wired charger. Everything else is the same with the S50 Pro mini. Both phones have a large 6,500mAh battery and an IP68/69 dust and water resistance rating. They also have 50-megapixel IMX921 main cameras, 50-megapixel 3x telephoto lenses, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide. They will ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 operating system. HONOR’s new entry-level phone, the HONOR X8d, has been subtly introduced in Kyrgyzstan with an enormous battery, a sharp main camera, a familiar design, but only a 4G-only chipset.

The HONOR X8d boasts a large 7,000mAh battery. Considering the underwhelming hardware it needs to power, you should get 2 to 3 days of battery life on a single charge. Speaking of, it comes with a 45W wired charging.

It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The camera island on the back is reminiscent of the HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro, which hold a 108-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide.

There’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera on top of the large 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. It ships with the latest Android 16-based MagicOS 10.

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart. The HONOR X9c Smart is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, albeit not many details are available on this chip.
