OPPO A6x: Snapdragon 685 CPU, 6500mAh battery, 120Hz HD+ display

OPPO Philippines has a new entry-level phone, right in time for the holiday season. Meet the OPPO A6x. The OPPO A6x has a generous 6,500mAh battery that can last for up to 13.3 hours of watching online videos, 9.6 hours of playing MOBA, 38.2 hours of online voice calls, or 880 hours of standby time. Reverse wired charging lets you use it like a power bank for other devices. Sadly, charging speeds were not mentioned. So we’re assuming it’s only around 10W. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G processor, with only 4GB of RAM, but an option between 64GB and 128GB of storage. OPPO claims the device will feel “good as new” even after four years. There’s a large 6.75-inch HD+ display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and 1,125-nit peak brightness. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is on the top of the display, while the rear has the 13-megapixel main shooter joined by a monochrome lens. Xiaomi Tag to compete with Apple AirTag

A new leak suggests the upcoming release of the Xiaomi Tag, which is obviously a tiny tracking device that will compete with Apple AirTag.

The leak claims it will have almost all the features of the AirTag. It would be nice if the Xiaomi Tag also worked with Apple Find My. But instead, it is compatible with Google’s Find My Device Network.

It will have that same button-like design, with a stainless steel base with the Xiaomi logo in it, and could operate with a CE2032 battery. It may come with different vibrant colors to set it apart.

Of course, price is going to be very affordable. Reports suggest it will retail for under USD25 (~Php1,500).

It is expected to be introduced in China on December 26, together with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. It could also arrive in other markets soon.

HONOR X9c Smart: Dimensity 7025 Ultra CPU, 6.8″ 120Hz display, 5800mAh battery

HONOR has released a new smartphone with a name we haven’t heard from them before, the HONOR X9c Smart. The HONOR X9c Smart is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, albeit not many details are available on this chip. What we know is that it has the same 2.5GHz clock speed and IMG BXM-8-256 GPU as the non-Ultra chip.
