The House of Representatives is going for a full digital transformation, with plans to eliminate paper-based systems and integrate blockchain technology this 2026. Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III shared this video message posted on social media. This modernization effort will digitize the chamber’s documents to promote transparency and accountability. Blockchain , a secure digital ledger, will be employed to protect and authenticate legislative documents. Key records involving the national budget will fall under this new system. With support from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) , the project would position the Philippine House as a regional pioneer. It is set to become Asia’s first legislature body to utilize blockchain for its operations. This move aligns with a broader governmental trend. No new smartphones from ASUS this 2026 — report

ASUS-Zenfone-12-Ultra-Specs-Features

ASUS confirmed that they have no plans to release new smartphones in 2026. This is after reports from distributors in Taiwan saying they are not getting new handsets from the company.

While no new phones are coming, ASUS assured consumers that it will continue providing maintenance, software upgrades, and warranty services to existing products.

ASUS hasn’t provided a clear reason as to why it is taking an indefinite break from producing and releasing new smartphones. However, the signs are pretty clear.

The company used to be one of the biggest names in the mobile world before many Chinese company entered the scene.

In the past few years, they have narrowed down their portfolio to high-end phones, completely getting out of the more profitable entry- and midrange market.

Their last smartphones to date are the ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra, which was announced in February 2025, and the ASUS ROG Phone 9 in March.
