TCL has a new niche mobile device. The new TCL Note A1 NxtPaper is a digital note-taking device that takes on the Kindle Scribe and others.
The TCL Note A1 NxtPaper features a large 11.5-inch NxtPaper Pure display with a sharp 2200 x 1440 pixel resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and 300-nit peak brightness. Its paper-like display panel offers incredible reflection reduction and eye comfort.
Like regular tablets, it has an ambient light sensor to reduce eye strain, especially in the dark.
It then supports a T-Pen Pro dual-type stylus that has an eraser, 8,192 pressure levels, and only has 5ms latency. It should provide a pencil-like experience when writing.

There are stereo speakers. But what’s interesting is the eight microphones that ensure it captures great audio for recording meetings, interviews, logging ideas, and more.
Under the hood, we have a MediaTek Helio G100 processor, with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. You can sync and share files to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and more.

It comes with an 8,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging. Pogo pin charging is also supported.
Made for creatives, the Note A1 has AI features like AI Writing Assist, AI Rewrite, and Inspiration Space that curates all your ideas.

The TCL Note A1 NxtPaper will soon be available on Kickstarter and has a starting price of USD419 (~Php24,800).
