UGREEN launches AMD-powered DXP2800 GT and DXP4800 GT NAS

UGREEN has introduced two fresh additions to its NAS lineup. The new devices are called the DXP2800 GT and the DXP4800 GT . The company says the “GT” badge stands for a mix of speed and steady performance, similar to what you might expect from a high-end sports car. Both machines are small and designed to sit on a desk. They look nearly identical. Each one has a gray metal body with gold trim, a magnetic dust filter on the back, and a hydraulic fan that runs quietly between 29 and 34 decibels. That means you can leave them on all day and night without much noise. Under the hood, both models use the same AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 chip. That processor has 4 cores and 8 threads and can reach up to 3.7GHz when pushed. UGREEN claims this gives a 26 percent speed boost over some of its older NAS models. Each device starts with 8GB of DDR4 memory, and you can upgrade that to 64GB if you need more. They also come with 64GB of built-in storage just for the operati...

DJI sues Insta360 for allegedly infringing on Osmo Pocket patents

DJI-sues-Insta360

DJI has filed lawsuits against Insta360, alleging that Insta360 copied key parts of its popular Osmo Pocket camera.

The Osmo Pocket maker is targeting Insta360’s new Luna line of cameras, which includes the Luna Pro and the Luna Ultra.

In the first case, DJI says Insta360 copied the look and shape of its product. DJI holds two design patents. One covers the long body of the camera, the neck that connects to the gimbal, and the camera setup. The second design patent protects the screen on top, the buttons, the side slot for accessories, and the charging port at the bottom.

DJI argues that Insta360 showed off its Luna cameras at the 2026 NAB Show and even marketed them as direct alternatives to the Osmo Pocket line. According to DJI, that is proof the company knew exactly what it was doing.

The second lawsuit goes deeper into how the cameras work. DJI says Insta360 broke four of its utility patents. These cover specific technologies, including:

  • A single button or control that lets you switch between two different gimbal movement modes.
  • A gimbal that can track a person or object on its own screen without needing a separate phone app.
  • A method where the camera uses what it sees to move its motors and keep the subject in frame.
  • A full self contained system that tracks a subject and shows the image right on the gimbal’s display.

DJI says Insta360 took these technologies and used them in the Luna line without permission.

Court records suggest DJI had been preparing for these lawsuits since early this year. The company watched Insta360 show off the Luna cameras at trade events. Then it waited until Insta360 started selling the Luna in the United States, which happened just one day before the lawsuits were filed.

DJI is asking the court to stop Insta360 from selling the Luna cameras. It also wants money for the damages, including a share of the profits Insta360 made. In addition, DJI is pushing for extra penalties because it believes the infringement was done on purpose.
