TECNO CAMON Slim: Helio G200 CPU, 5,600mAh battery, 144Hz display, 6.39mm thickness

TECNO-CAMON-Slim

TECNO is bringing its Slim branding to the CAMON series with the new TECNO CAMON Slim.

Like the POVA Slim and Spark Slim, the TECNO CAMON Slim has incredible thinness of just 6.39mm. The rear panel has curved sides, adding to the overall sleekness. Plus, the New Mondrian colorway has the renowned pattern and features a photochromic finish that shows off blocks in green, yellow, and cyan colors when exposed to ultraviolet light.

There’s also a Van Gogh Blue colorway, two prism designs (Black and Green), and a plain Burgundy Red.

There’s also an iPhone Air-like camera island, with the 50-megapixel main camera and flicker sensor on each side. An LED panel is in between, which has 354 LEDs and 55 lighting scenes. It can show texts, different animations, and battery life, together with the RGB rings surrounding the camera lenses.

Now onto the normal parts. Sadly, this device uses a 4G-only MediaTek Helio G200 processor, with 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. But despite its thinness, it has a relatively large 5,600mAh battery with 60W fast charging.

A big and fast 6.78-inch AMOLED display is on the front, with a 2720 x 1224 pixel resolution, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on top. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos are also here. Plus, it will receive 3 Android OS updates in the span of 5 years.

From 2026, Xiaomi phones available outside mainland China and the United States will come pre-installed with a wallet and crypto discovery app developed by Sei Labs. This would definitely help increase the adoption of the network as Xiaomi is one of the biggest smartphone vendors in the world, just behind Samsung and Apple. What’s more, Sei plans to implement stablecoin payments in over 20,000 Xiaomi stores, starting in Hong Kong and the European Union. Sei Labs aims to “build a decentralized NASDAQ” and targets to accommodate 200,000 transactions per second as it aims to shift the financial ecosystem on-chain. To make it possible, th...
