Capcom’s Monster Hunter Outlanders launches on iOS and Android. Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group made the free-to-play open-world survival game under a Capcom license. Capcom watched over the project.
Seven weapon types are listed for launch: Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow. Producer Dong Huang also confirmed the Charge Blade for launch. Huang and Capcom’s Ryozo Tsujimoto say more monsters, weapons, and areas will come in updates. There are two control schemes, one for series veterans and one for mobile-first players. The game has no auto-combat. The launch build adds a new Elder Dragon called Ruger Aidal.
Hunts take place on Aesoland, which has forests, swamps, and deserts. Trailers show a glider, climbing, swimming, and a grappling hook. A building system lets players set up launchers, ziplines, and gliding facilities. Co-op supports up to four hunters, with guild and fixed-team options. Every adventurer has a buddy, including the familiar Palico.

Garena publishes the game in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Level Infinite, Tencent’s global games brand, has also promoted it.
The Monster Hunter Outlanders game is free-to-play with in-app purchases. Adventurers come from gacha-style pulls, like most games these days. Android needs Android 12, 8GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 888 chipset or equivalent. iOS needs an iPhone 12 or newer with iOS 17.
