Xiaomi has released the Redmi K80 with upgrades on the processor, battery, newer design, and more. For the Redmi K80 , Xiaomi went with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of the K70. It is attached to a dual-loop vapor chamber that keeps it and the cameras cool. The chip is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The biggest upgrade is in the battery. It now has a 6,550mAh capacity, 1,550mAh bigger than before. What’s more impressive is, it’s actually 0.1mm thinner, so it is possible Xiaomi used the same silicon-carbon battery tech as other brands. Xiaomi also included their dedicated P3 charging and G1 battery management chips. Sadly, charging speeds were dropped to a safer 90W from 120W. Still, no wireless charging. In the market for one of the biggest tablets money can buy? You might want to consider the new Lenovo Legion Y900.

Remember the Lenovo Tab Extreme that debuted at CES 2023 two months ago? Well, the Lenovo Legion Y900 is essentially it, only with a different name for the Chinese market as it’s poised toward gaming fans.

That said, the Legion Y900 has the same features that made Tab Extreme interesting. Primarily, the large 14.5-inch 3K OLED display with all the bells and whistles: 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. It even has a USB-C DisplayPort IN so you can use it as an external monitor.

The display also works with the 2nd-gen XiaoXin stylus with 4096 levels of high-pressure sensitivity.

Made for entertainment, visuals are nothing if the audio is bad. Hence, the Legion Y900 also comes with 8 JBL speakers: 4x tweeters and 4x HJBL ultra-linear woofers.

What’s more, the Legion Y900 is powered by a Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor, a 12,300mAh battery, and 68W fast charging.

The Lenovo Legion Y900 has a starting price of CNY4,999 (~Php39,500). Lenovo is also selling a dedicated keyboard stand with a trackpad for CNY1,599 (~Php12,600), a cover stand for CNY199 (~Php1,600), and a screen protector for CNY69 (~Php5000). Its release details in China are yet to be announced.
