Do you want to reset your PLDT modem/router but don’t know how or are intimidated to do so? Well, you came to the right place.

There are a couple of reasons why you might want to reset your PLDT Fiber modem to its default settings. Either you need to reconfigure your WiFi password or name but already forgot the admin login credentials, or a different user set it up for you.

Today, we’ll show you how you can reset your PLDT modem, and also how you can access your admin account and change the modem password. Let’s begin.

How to reset PLDT Fiber modem/router

Step 1: Look for the reset button on the back of your PLDT router. Also, make sure that the router is turned on.

Step 2: To reach the button, you can use your smartphone’s SIM ejector tool, paper clip, an earring, or any that is thin and long, but not sharp so you don’t damage the button.

Step 3: Now, using the tool, press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds or until the router lights turn off. Wait for the reboot to finish and you’re done.

Step 3: Once in, type admin for the username and 1234 for the password. Those are the default admin login settings for recent PLDT internet installations.
