OnePlus 13: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 6000mAh, 100W charging

The new OnePlus flagship has been released, and while it looks the same as last year, the new OnePlus 13 offers substantial upgrades on the inside. Of course, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by the best chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Elite . This chip has two prime cores clocked at 4.32GHz and offers 45% faster CPU performance and 44% better power efficiency than its predecessor. The side curves are now gone as it has a 2.5D quad-curved design with subtle curves on the four sides. This resulted in a shorter build but with a size of 6.82 inches. That display uses a high-end X2 OLED 8T LTPO panel from BOE with a 1440p resolution, 4,500 nits of peak brightness, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. Audio is provided by the stereo speakers. It also gains a new vibration motor that OnePlus claims provides “gaming controller level feedback”. It is apparently the biggest vibration motor on any Android phone with its size of 602mm3. Another big

Infinix-Note-30

Infinix just announced the new Note 30 series, which comes in three models. But for today, we’ll be focusing on the vanilla Note 30 and the Note 30 5G.

First, let’s take a look at the Infinix Note 30 4G, which is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM with an option between 128GB and 256GB of expandable storage.

It boasts a large and fast 6.78-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A punch-hole cutout on top holds the 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, there’s a 64-megapixel main shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery that comes with a 45W charger. As per Infinix, the battery can keep its integrity even after 1,000 cycles, which is better than what most devices offer. Reverse wired charging is also present so you can use it like a power bank for other devices.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra: SD 8 Gen 3, 120Hz AMOLED, 1-inch sensor, Titanium Edition

Xiaomi has introduced in China its best smartphone to date, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, just a few days before its global debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this February 25. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra looks similar to its predecessor in terms of the layout. But this time, it’s more refined, and Xiaomi is joining in on the Titanium hype as it will come with a Titanium Special Edition model, which uses a grade 5 titanium like the new iPhone 15 Pro series. Oddly, it weighs 229.6g, which is heavier than the black and white (22.4.4g) and Dragon Crystal (229.5g) colors. The Titanium will also exclusively get two-way satellite communication. Another similar but refined feature is the cameras. It still has four 50-megapixel shooters, however, the main one gets an upgraded 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor. It also has a wider f/1.63 aperture, which can be dropped to f/4.0. The other three cameras use the same 1/2.5-inch Sony IMX858 sensor. That’s for the ultra-wide lens with a 12mm eq
