Samsung’s Galaxy M series in India continues to grow. They have added a new one, the Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G.
Like its cousins, the Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G sports a large 6.7-inch FHD+ display. It’s an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. A sharp 50-megapixel selfie camera is on top. On the back, we have another 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization and video digital image stabilization.
Under the hood, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor, with 8GB of RAM and an option between 128GB and 256GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Security is handled by the in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
It also has a fairly interesting design that’s available in two colors: Coral Green and Thunder Black.
Like most phones, it has up to 16GB virtual RAM expansion and has Samsung Knox Vault for security and encryption.
The Samsung Galaxy M55s is available on Amazon India for a price of INR19,999 (~Php13,400) for the 8GB/128GB model and INR22,999 (~Php15,400) for the 8GB/256GB. It will be available starting September 16.
