Xiaomi’s latest tablet has a few firsts: Having a 14-inch screen, making it their biggest tablet, and the first to use their in-house flagship chip, the Xring O1. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will take on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the iPad Pro with its enormous 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels, peak brightness of 1,600 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, premium 12-bit colors, and support for both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with an option between a regular glass and a nano-textured one that reduces reflections. It then has a 3nm Xring O1 chip, Xiaomi’s first in-house chipset that also powers the Xiaomi 15S Pro. This one boasts a whopping 10-core CPU, with the prime cores reaching 3.7GHz. ASUS Gaming V16 priced in the Philippines

ASUS’s budget-oriented gaming laptop, the ASUS Gaming V16, is now in the Philippines.

The ASUS Gaming V16 has a lot of the right hardware to provide a good gaming experience. The units coming to the Philippines are powered by the latest Intel Core 5 210H CPU, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD.

It is paired with the ASUS IceCool thermal technology for sustained performance even after hours of gaming. The cooling system consists of 2 fans with 79 IceBlades, dual heat pipes, dual vents, liquid-crystal polymer material, all while emitting < 40dBA noise.

We then have a large 16-inch LED backlit display with an extra-fast 144Hz refresh rate that’s great for shooter games. It’s not the fanciest display, but more than enough for budget gamers.

Made for gamers, it has a backlit keyboard, albeit only in a single Blue color, with a neon-highlighted WASD and arrow keys. The whole laptop has a Matte Black finish. It then has a 63Wh battery, although longevity hasn’t been disclosed.

For connectivity, we have WiFi 6 — not WiFi 7, but it should be enough. We also have plenty of ports: Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, and HDMI 2.1.

The ASUS Gaming V16 also boasts a 40% bigger touchpad with support for numerous smart gestures. You can swipe the left corner to adjust volume, the right for brightness, the top for media playback, and more.

Like other ASUS laptops, the Gaming V16 is MIL-STD-810H military-grade certified after passing numerous durability tests.

The ASUS Gaming V16 will come with a free Official Genshin Impact starting today, May 6, until June 15. It is available in ASUS and ROG stores and authorized partners nationwide. It launches in the Philippines alongside the Gaming X16, which is a cheaper alternative.

It also comes with a free ASUS backpack, a 2-year international warranty, a 1-year Accidental Damage Protection, and a 3-month PC Game Pass. See the prices below:
